Strong & Steady. This beginner-friendly, trauma-informed series is designed to help students build strength, stability, and confidence in a supportive, structured format. It’s ideal for newer students, those returning to practice, or anyone wanting to feel more steady and capable in their movement.
Week 1 - April 1 – Strong Hips, Solid Foundation. Grounding, hip stability, and building strength in foundational standing poses.
Week 2 - April 8 – A Supported Spine. Core strength and spinal awareness to support safe, controlled movement.
Week 3 - April 15 – Strong & Open Shoulders. Shoulder stability and upper back strength for confident weight-bearing.
Week 4 - April 22 – Balance & Body Awareness. Standing balance, focus, and nervous system steadiness.
Week 5 - April 29 – Smooth, Confident Movement. Integration of strength and stability into simple, controlled movement
While the material is designed as a series, each session can also stand alone.

Each month Cheryl offers a deeply healing & relaxing Restorative Yoga class followed by a Nidra Meditation. Restorative Yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the union of body and mind. We follow the Restorative class with a Nidra Meditation, a gentle but powerful meditation technique. Tickets available in our STORE for $35. If there are no tickets available in our Store, contact Cheryl there are sometimes more spaces available and there is always the wait list.
Join us The First Saturday of each month at 10:00am until 12:15pm for this beautiful and deeply nourishing practice. Confirm your spot via email (chattayogactr@gmail.com) or Text Cheryl. Your spot will not be fully reserved until you hear back directly from Cheryl.
You do not have to do both modalities, email the chattayogactr@gmail.com if you're interested in only doing one practice.

Join us at Enterprise South Nature Park Picnic Area 3 for a mindful Asana practice in a beautiful, natural and serene Place. Once you enter the park, turn right onto Still Hollow Loop Rd (It’s the only road on your right) and drive until you see Picnic Area 3. It’s further than you think so don’t give up!! We promise you’ll get there!!
Bring water, bug repellent, your mat and something to go under your mat. If you’re coming as part of a group, consider meeting at the main parking lot in the front of the park and riding back to Picnic Area 3 together. That would make Picnic Area 3 Parking a little easier. Thanks!!

The Chattanooga Yoga Center's Annual Weekend Yoga Retreat is a much anticpated event! The friendships formed on these trips are unmatched. The laughter is constant. The included spa treatment of your choice is always relaxing. There's an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna.
Most importantly there are five yoga classes! All different, all with that special Cheryl charm.
